The Stonham Parva Parish Council now meets monthly at the Stonham Baptist Church.
Meetings are on the third Monday of each month and start at 7:30pm. The May meeting is also the Annual General Meeting where election of councillors takes place.
The funding for Parish Councils is raised through a precept which is collected through the council tax system. It also receives funds from burials in our local Cemetery.
It then uses this money to maintain local amenities, in our case the local playing fields and playing area, the cemetery and footpaths.
