CEMETERY FEES

The fees set out below apply to:

i)                    Persons living in the parish of Stonham Parva

ii)                   Burials for ex-residents will be considered and if approved will carry additional charges

                                                                                                                                                                       

BURIALS

    Fee: 

Exclusive Right of Burial – 50 years

Double Adult burial plot

The above fees are doubled for ex-residents

       

  

 

CREMATIONS

    Fee:  

Exclusive Right of Burial – 50 years

Burial of ashes

       £130.00

Double ashes interment plot

       £195

Reuse existing plot

       £80.00

   

The above fees are doubled for ex-residents

 

Headstone for Burial plots– not exceeding 3’ x 2’ x 4”, with or without a base not exceeding 2’6” in width x 15” in depth

       £135.00

Tablet 15" x 15" max

       £135.00

Vase or Wooden Cross 

       £75.00

Headstone for urn garden – not exceeding 22”x  4” x 2”, with or without a base not exceeding 16” in width x 12” in depth  x 3”

       £135.00

Additional inscription

       £75.00

The above fees do not include the Headstone

 

 

 

RESERVED PLOTS

 

Reservation of burial/urn space for a 10 year period thereafter renewable for a further fee

       £130.00

Fees do not include the digging of the grave/interment plot or the services of a Minister (to be arranged via Funeral Director).

 

 

All grave plots shall be kept flat and level with the adjoining ground.  Mounds and gardens on grave plots shall not be permitted.  A small number of spring bulbs is allowed. 

Planting of shrubs, trees or plants is not permitted and the owners of a grave plot will be requested to remove any items not permitted.

Items which are considered inappropriate may also be asked to be removed.

To save any embarrassment it is advised to seek guidance before placing such items.

Unauthorised items will be removed by the Council.

 

All applications for Burials / Internments and Monuments are to be made to the Parish Clerk.

 

Please include dimensions and diagram for Monument applications.
