 Parish Council ⭐️

The Parish Council have borrowed a thermal imaging camera which can show where you are suffering heat loss in your home and suggest ways of improving on this.

St Mary's officially open after 4 years following roof collapse

13 August 2022

An event was held on Saturday 13th August to mark the re-opening of our historic St Mary's church.

Now open Wednesday - Sunday from 10am until 4pm

Which included a wonderful, engaging and humorous talk by the very knowledgeable Roy Tricker. 

Thank you to everyone that came along to support the event.

In addition there was a famous event from the 1870s about whether services should be spoken or sung that ended up in court. The BBC in 1976 made a film at the church about the incident and includes a  very young Jim Broadbent. Its available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30uvdPJj4sU
