COVID-19 New rules from 29 March 2021

The Parish Council hopes you are keeping safe and well during these difficult times.

Do not forget we are here to help, if you are having difficulties getting shopping, need other help or are just in need of a chat. You can contact us either by telephone on 07940 903254 or e-mail clerk@stonhamparvapc.org.uk

And do not forget that very sadly there are people who are willing to exploit the situation and try to take advantage and defraud you – be careful and don’t do anything you are not sure about.

In addition if others in the village would also like to volunteer to assist please make contact as above.

Please all take care of each other in these difficult times.

There is also a Suffolk Advice and Support Services Helpline Number: 0800 068 3131.

COVID-19 testing in Suffolk

 Getting a test

You can help stop the spread of COVID-19, by getting tested to see if you have the virus.

There are different tests you can get to check if you have coronavirus (COVID-19). The test you need depends on why you're getting tested. The two main tests are free:

  • PCR tests – for people with symptoms, tests are sent to a lab to be checked

  • Rapid tests – only for people who do not have symptoms, tests using lateral flow devices give a result in 30 minutes. These tests are used for regular, twice-weekly testing.
